She has researched women’s kendo for over 40 years and this is the compilation of her research. Read her full story on our magazine 2022 Spring issue Vol.3 where she is interviewed and discusses some key issues including gender matter and the nature of women’s problems in kendo that has existed within feudal society for a long time.
The direction of women’s kendo that she believes needs to go is much discussed in the book also. Much more, the book will be published in English from Bunkasha International, soon. We will keep posted about this great news as this fantastic project progresses!
